Robert Koch’s house and bust

Robert Koch spent some of his youth years (1854-1862) in this house of Clausthal-Zellerfeld (Kronenplatz 12).

In 2005, on the centennial of his Nobel Prize for Medicine, the Municipality wanted to celebrate the great scientist by putting his bronze bust just in front of the house.
