1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy refers exclusively to the “Himetop — The History of Medicine Topographical Database” website of Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) and should be considered an integral part of the Privacy Policy of the same.
2. What are cookies

3. Types of cookies used by the Website
The Website uses technical cookies only. It does not use analytical or statistical cookies, nor marketing or profiling cookies, and it does not install third-party cookies of any kind. No cookie is installed on the device of users who simply browse the Website without logging in.
The technical cookies used by the Website allow it to function correctly and to display its content, and are limited to those strictly necessary to authenticate authorised users accessing the reserved area through the “Login” section, and to keep their session and display preferences active. Their deactivation would result in the inability to access the reserved area.

4. Third-party content and resources
Although the Website does not install third-party cookies, some technical resources needed to display its pages correctly (in particular the icon font used for the graphical interface) are retrieved from an external content delivery network operated by Cloudflare, Inc. When such resources are loaded, the user’s IP address and browser data are necessarily transmitted to that provider, which does not install cookies through the Website.
