Andrea Cesalpino was born in this house of Arezzo (Corso Italia, 152) c. 1524. Just on top of the front door, a simple italian inscription can be read: “QUI / NACQUE E ABITO’ / ANDREA CESALPINO” (Here Andrea Cesalpino was born and lived).
