This monument to Carlos Finlay can be seen in a little garden of Havana (corner between Calle Cuba and Calle Amargura), just in front of the entrance to the Museo Histórico de las Ciencias Medicas “Carlos J. Finlay”. The monument was erected in 1916, a year after the scientist’s death.
