Maria Montessori ‘s native home in Chiaravalle was acquired by the Municipality in 1998 and transformed in a centre for the promotion of Montessori’s theory and educational method. The home-museum hosts a collection of Montessori’s writings, educational tools and other memorabilia, along with an interesting pedagogical library about Montessori’s method.
