This expressive monument to the memory of Étienne-Jules Marey can be admired in Marey’s birth town Beaune (Place Marey). It is a work by a French sculptor Henri Bouchard dated 19111. On the basament the following inscriptions can be read: “BEAUNE 5 MARS 1830 / E-J MAREY/ PARIS 15 MAI 1904” and “H. BOUCHARD / 1911”.
