According to some biographers1, in 1852 John Snow left his 54 Firth Street home in London and moved to a more fashionable neighborhood where he lived in a home on this site (18 Sackville Street), after receiving, in 1850, his title of LRCP (Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians).
