This model of a rotation machine has been reconstructed in the Museum Dr. Guislain after the engravings of Joseph Guislain‘s, Traité sur l’Aliénation Mentale et sur les Hospice des Aliénés1.
This kind of machine was used at that time in the treatment of mental illness.
