Institut Pasteur

The Pasteur Institute, in Paris, was inaugurated on November 14th, 1888. It was created thanks to the success of an international fundraising aimed to allow Louis Pasteur to expand immunization against rabies, to promote the study of infectious diseases and to disseminate knowledge1.
