This monument of Theodor Schwann can be seen in his birthtown, Neuss (on a small clearing between Neustrasse and Promenadenstrasse). The statue was a work of local sculptor Joseph Hammerschmidt (1873-1926) and was erected by Neuss’ municipality in 1909.
