Reconstruction of Nicola Pende’s Consulting Room

This is a reconstruction of Nicola Pende‘s consulting room, realized by the municipality in the Palace of Culture of Noicattaro (Via Telegrafo, 2). It is very well detailed and suggestive because it reflects the spatial disposition of the original consulting room. The main components are the desk, the famous Pende’s pyramid, the divider, the bookcase, the crib and his medical instruments.

This pyramid represents Pende’s conception about physique, which is made of four different features: habitus, temper, character and intelligence. The base of the pyramid indicates the genetic heredity.
