Francesco Rizzoli’s tomb

The simple tombstone of Francesco Rizzoli can be found, along with the one of Alessandro Codivilla, in the first chapel on the left of the church of San Michele in Bosco, annexed to the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna.

Rizzoli’s and Codivilla’s tombs were blessed during a religious ceremony held on December 15, 1957, as can be seen from the invitation card below.
