Luigi Carlo Farini was born in this house of Russi (Corso Farini, 39) the 22nd of October 1812. A memorial tablet on the facade, placed by the Municipality the 2nd of June 1878, remembers him and his uncle Domenico Antonio who was a naturalist. The pharmacy, still present in the building, belonged to Farini’s father, Stefano, since 18071.
