Rhinoplasty bandage after Tagliacozzi (reconstruction)

This natural size model of the method for bandaging after a rhynoplastic surgery, devised by Gaspare Tagliacozzi and illustrated in his magnificent book De curtorum chirurgia per insitionem (1597), can be seen in the first floor of the Museo di Storia della Medicina, in Rome.

The model was sculpted by Antonio Cocchioni1.
