Villa Nobel
Villa Nobel in Sanremo (Corso Cavallotti, 116) was bought by Alfred Nobel in 1891. After important arrangements, in 1893 the Villa was ready for Nobel's needs, with some rooms for visitors, a laboratory, a stable and a private pier for his experiments on the seashore. Nobel spent in the Villa the most of his last years and died in it on December 10, 1896.
The Villa, now a property of the Province of Imperia, was deeply restored at the end of 20th Century and, from 2002, hosts a Museum and a conference center as well as some rooms of the original Nobel's house.
