In this quite shabby house, at the beginning of Via San Massimo, not far from the center of Padua, a little tablet remembers that Giovanni Battista Morgagni lived here until his death: “GIAMB – MORGAGNI / FONDATA L’ANATOME PATOLOGICA / QUI MORIVA 6 DIC – 1771”. Morgagni’s tomb can be visited in the Church of San Massimo, not far from the house.
