Pio Blasi’s tomb

Pio Blasi died on October 20, 1911 and was buried in a family tomb in the Cemetery of  Velletri.

Although located in a prominent spot in the cemetery, the tomb today appears very neglected and perhaps abandoned.

Through the gate blocking the entrance, on the right side, you can see two round portraits of a man and a woman, likely Blasi and his wife Maria.

On the left wall, a similar portrait of a fairly young man, likely Blasi’s only son.
